This is an extension for Firefox and Thunderbird
that notifies you when updates are available for your extensions and
themes. Allows quick access to your extensions and themes and the
ability to check for any available updates. Easily configurable for
automatically installing updates when available and checking for
updates when Firefox starts.
StumbleUpon is an intelligent browsing tool for sharing and discovering great websites. As you click Stumble!, you'll get high-quality pages matched to your personal preferences. These pages have been explicitly recommended
(rated I like it)
by friends and other SU members with similar interests. Rating these
sites shares them with your friends and peers – you will automatically
'stumble upon' each others favorites sites.
This extension will allow you to easily control cookie permissions. It
will appear on your statusbar. Just click on the icon to allow, block,
or temporarily allow the site to set cookies. You can also view or
clear the cookies and exceptions by right clicking on the statusbar
icon. For safer browsing you may choose to deny cookies globally and
then enable them on a per site basis.
This
extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2.7 GB) for file storage.
It acts as a remote machine. You can transfer files between your
hard drive and gmail. This is similar to "Gmail Drive" on windows
platform. Your gmail account looks like a FTP host and you can
upload and download your files. After you install, you get an
option called "GSpace" in your "tools" menu clicking on which
opens the window for transfer of folders/files.
IE View is a simple Mozilla and
Mozilla Firefox
extension (for Microsoft Windows systems), which
allows the current page or a selected link to be opened in Internet Explorer. I use Firefox 99.99% of the time,
but there are those moments -- particularly when testing new pages, or when viewing that rare
IE-only page that's actually interesting -- when I need to see what things look like in IE.
Download one link, selected links or all the links of a page together
at the maximum speed with a single click, using the most popular and
reliable external download managers for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and
FreeBSD. Supported products are dozens, see http://flashgot.net for
details. FlashGot offers also a Build Gallery functionality which helps
to synthetize full media galleries in one page from serial contents
scattered on several pages, for easy and fast "download all".
Google Browser Sync for Firefox is an extension that continuously
synchronizes your browser settings – including bookmarks, history,
persistent cookies, and saved passwords – across your computers. It
also allows you to restore open tabs and windows across different
machines and browser sessions.
As you type a search query into the new Toolbar's
search box, you'll see a list of useful suggestions based on popular
Google searches, spelling corrections and your own Toolbar search
history and bookmarks. You can also click the 'G' icon in the search
box to search different Google sites, the current site, or sites for
which you’ve installed custom search buttons.
PDF Download is a Firefox extension that solves
the problems everyone has about handling PDF files with Firefox.
PDF Download is not a PDF plugin: you still need to have installed
the Adobe or the FoxIt PDF plugin if you want to open a PDF inside
Firefox.
Are you annoyed to click on a link and then wait a lot of time
just because the PDF plugin is loading?
Based closely (a rewrite, basically) upon the excellent work of Scott
Stroz (www.boyzoid.com), this extension is designed to display, in
humorous language, the current threat level at the US Department of
Homeland Security.
